SALVATORE FERRAGAMO Fall-Winter 2009/2010

It started off with a digitalized slide show of what else? shoes of course!

Ironically, the shoes from the shoe-maker's show were not memorable.
The show was a little schizo as there were both daywear and nightwear and menswear.
But I do like the obvious equestrian influences.
Nightwear was predictable.
I can't say much about the menswear since the guys weren't particularly hot and I abstained from taking too many photos.
Look at the video from the previous post and you can be the judge.

I know. I know.
We've seen furry vests done to death. That, Ferragamo managed to pull off.
And, even though I know I probably would only be able to wear it a handful of times in this lifetime, I'm seriously thinking of investing in one (faux-fur of course) for my year end vacay.

To end this off on a more positive note, the next post on the Valentino show features gowns to
DIE FOR.
So, stay tuned sisters.

YSL Fall Winter 2009-2010

red shoes! high waistin it! up dos!

yes, i'll say it. nothing terribly innovative.
but those clothes could definitely translate off the runway.
here's a thought.
this show reminded me of those red heels i stashed in the back of my closet
am gonna pull them out & werk them on Monday.

VIRGIN POST

so.

i was fortunate enough to score an invite to a v underground… v avant-garde event.
i mean it was held in an old changi hangar. And it's not an everyday affair that 3 big fashion houses come together to showcase their individual runway collections.
